Semana Treinta y Tres

Semana Treinta

We have a cat that loves to bite toes. >_> Que asco!

This week has been a little crazy.  My companion has caught the flu or something like that.  Its called gripe here :P  But she wants to work so hard but she cant, but because of this we have seen a ton of mini miracles in this week! XD

Rosa 57:  Rosa is so great.  She loves to listen to the missionaries.  From every relgion that comes to her house.  She loves to hear the word of the Lord and is so willing to listen.  She doesn´t have a relgion of her own, she never thought it was necesary.  She had doubts about the resurrection but after we taught the Great Plan of Happiness, I think her doubts are gone.  We are working on preparing her for baptism and she seems excited for her baptismal date.  The only problem that she has is in the mornings her stomach doesn´t sit right with her and she has to run to the bathroom for the first few hours.  So we will see what we can do to help her with the mornings so that she can  make it to church Sunday mornings.

Roberto 53:  Roberto believes in reincarnation. I don´t know if that´s how you spell it... :P But he believes that we are already in the eternal life and that once we die we will come back to life in another body.  Animal, human, or whatever else.  He comes to church every Sunday lately and is really nice.  We just need to help him see that God has a plan of happiness for him and that God loves him.

Daniela 20: Daniela is a sweet heart.  She was waiting for us the first time we came to talk to her.  With juice and cookies. xD  She is so ready to be baptised but with school and what not it is now hard to find her when she isn´t doing anything.  She hasn´t come to church yet but has promised us that she wants to come and will do everything that she can so that she can come.  She is excited for her baptismal date, but first she needs to come to church so that she will be able to continue strong in the faith.

Luisa 55:  Luisa has a family.  She is the only one that isn´t baptised, and she can´t be baptised until she gets married to the man she is living with.  He is a member, return missionary too.  They both understand the importance and they are working on getting everything worked out so that they are able to be married.  There are complications, but everything is working out.  And I know the Lord is helping them get everything situated.

I know that the Lord is working with the people here in my area.  And there are peopel that are ready to hear the word of the Lord.  I know that I am here for a reason that the Lord is helping me with everything that I do so that I can help other people find the truth in this world.  I love the Lord and I am so grateful for this chance to learn Spanish.  Help His children come closer to Him.  And come closer to Him myself.  I love everything that I have done so far in my 6 months of being here and I am excited for the year to come.

Semana Treinta!

Faith is like a litte seed.  If planted it will grow.  Faith is a swelling within my heart.  When I do right I know.

I have been working on Faith in Personal Progress recently and I have learned quite a bit.   Faith is powerful and with faith we can do anything.  Faith is the most important thing to have, Faith in Christ, specifically.

When we have faith we have a hope of things that we cannot see.  With faith we are able to see the little miracles of God and we are able to come closer to Him in our lives.  I know that with Faith, I have been able to learn Spanish and be able to communicate with the people that are here in Argentina.  I believe with all my heart that the work I am doing here is the work of the Lord, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the church of the Lord.  The only church that has the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I know that we have the power and authority of God to be able to do miracles and do the work of the Lord, like bautisms.  I know that through Jesus Christ we are made clean and we are able to look forward to the future with a heart of hope.  We are able to gain eternal life and be able to live with our Heavenly Father again, but in order to be able to obtain that, we need to have the Faith in Christ and follow Him through our lives.  We need to keep the commandments of the Lord.

I love you guys and I love the Lord.
I will always serve the Lord with all my heart, might, mind and strength!

Semana Veintinueve

I can honestly say that it is going to be so weird to come home and have everyone speaking English to me.  I don´t think I will be ready for that, because here that is only like 5 mintues to speak English, and even that I have decided to only speak Spanish so that everyone will be able to understand what I am saying. :P

I have learned so much here.  And I only have like 6 months in the mission.  But to think about it.  In one year.  I will be sitting in my house, without a plack, without needing to leave my house if I don´t want to, and I will be speaking Enligsh again.  That is a crazy thought.  6 months have already passed in my mission and I feel like it has only been like 3 months or so.

For about a week I wasn´t able to use my camera... Sad no?  That´s because I left my charger in my old pension.  But I have it now and my camera is not dead xD Good things! XD Haha no but I was able to take the pictures that my companion took and put them on my USB drive XD Thank heavens I have a wonderful companion XD

I have a goal to write more in my mass emails and in my blog posts, so that everyone will be able to know more about what is going on here in Argentina, because I have super far away from everyone.  I´m on the other side of the world :P Not really, but really at the same time.

I love the people still.  They are so willing to give, even though they don´t have everything in the world.  I have realized how blessed I am to be able to live where I live and have the parents that I have.  I am grateful for everything that the Lord has given me.  Especially my family and the chance to be able to be in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have the ability to help other people come unto Christ.  I love the Lord and I will forever try to serve Him with everything that I have.  The mission is something that changes the lives of many people, even the missionaries are changing.  Everyday we are able to learn new things and are able to change and better ourselves.  Everyday we are trying to be more and more like Christ and the example that He set for the world.  Every day we are able to have the name of Christ over our heart.

I love the Gospel and I am to be able to help everyone that I can come close to Him!
